Babies, Bunnies & Bombs
is the first solo show for Robert Nelson, a San Diego artist whose visual vocabulary includes stuffed childhood toys, atomic explosions and armies of children in rabbit-eared onesies. In a stark black & white world which vaguely resembles a pre-technicolor TV landscape the artist creates scenes which at once evoke both innocence lost and a brooding fear of the unknown. Opening reception in conjuction with Kettner Nights July 9th from 6-9 PM._Robert_Nelson%3A__Babies,_Bunnies_%26_Bombs.html
